Botany Bay [3]

An hour after I'd landed on the long haul back from LHR, here I am standing (jet-lagged) on the other side of the planet, at the edge of Botany Bay. It's 2 days after the shortest day of the year (June 21st) and it's a perfect early winter's day in Sydney. The city centre can be seen on the skyline slightly left of centre, with the tower blocks of Bondi Junction right of centre and you can just make out a 747 taxiing for take off at Sydney airport on the foreshore below.
