DG: Play Date

[Sofia and her friend Doc are having a play date. Doc brought over her doctor tools so they decided to play Hospital.]

 

S: Doc, doc, you have to help me! It's my Scoops, she's burning up!

 

D: *feels her forehead* You're right! We need to get her into a room STAT!

 

[They run to Sofia's bed]

 

D: Scoops, tell me what happened...Scoops?

 

S: *gasp* Is she...?

 

D: *puts her stethoscope to Scoops chest* No, I still hear a heartbeat, but its fading. Sofia, we have to act quick, do you know what happened?

 

S: No, she was fine and then the next thing I know is shes burning up.

 

D: *grabs her otoscope to look inside her ear* Aha! I found the problem!

 

S: What is it, Doc?

 

D: You know the term 'brain freeze'? Well, she's having brain burn. It's caused by eating something really, really, reeeeally spicy!

 

S: Is there a cure?

 

D: *grabs her injection needle* Yes, all she needs is a shot of liquid ice.

 

S: Look, shes waking up!

 

D: uh-huh...uh-huh...hmm..uh-huh. You're very welcome, Scoops.

 

S: What did she say?

 

D: She said she went to Pepper Pots-n-Pans house for lunch and ate spicy chili.

 

S: Oh, Scoops! Thanks Doc!

 

[Suddenly Sofia's door crashes open]

 

G: Keep it down! I'm trying to pretend I'm not watching you right now, and big-headed kid, your mom is outside. Scram

 

D: Awww, okay. See you later, Sofia.

 

G: And you, lets go.

 

S: Where are we going?

 

G: Unfortunately not an orphanage. I told your dad I would take you shopping for picture day clothes so get your shoes on and lets go.
