Little daffodils at a special place in Shaw Wood, Armthorpe, South Yorkshire.

As the weather is unseasonably warm, for February, we went for a walk in Shaw Wood when visiting my mum. This is the spot in the wood where we deposited my late father's ashes in 2011. He often went for walks in Shaw Wood, which is just across the road from where my parents have lived since 1955. Near this tree was the stump of an old gate post which my father often used as seat, particularly as he became more ill with cancer. Mum placed some miniature daffodils here let year and the warm weather has made them flower early.
