G-GAVA Links Air Jetstream 31 On 15 August 2014 this Links Air Jetstream, operating a flight from Belfast City Airport, crashed on landing at the airport following a landing gear failure and causing substantial damage to the aircraft. One passenger was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The airport was closed for several hours. The stricken aircraft remains stored at the airport.
