Yes, he is still going strong after all these years, I grew up knowing this guy (I think he is now in his 80's!) on TV. My Uncle Gordon thought he was a hoot and so do I. If you do not know him, he is the reporter who broke-open the famous Texas Chicken Ranch house of ill-repute. He was pinned down in his car and shot at to make him go away. But, he stayed and brought the whole operation to the light of day. He is the one who they made the famous musical play and movie, "The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas" about.
I took this shot of him from last Friday from the the screen of our TV, he is saying his classic line he says every Friday evening, "Good golf, good tennis or WHATEVER makes you happy!" Marvin is a classic Houston icon for sure!
