Trail Maintenance

Above the Allt Kinglass whilst Elk & Paddy were searching out the deer Mist, was studiously removing ice from her paws which had built up on the way up ... t'was very very cold with an artic north wind blowing! (it was to get colder still as we went higher onto more exposed ground!). Destination (Beinn Mhanach) was beyond that hill seen on the left and involved a gradual descent from here across the flank of this hill down to a col then up again towards the summit and reverse after doing the top of Beinn a Chuirn. you can see a very faint sheep trod we were following across the flank .. this eventually petered out but made easy going whilst on it. I managed to find the other end of it when coming back by ensuring I spotted just when it petered out in relation to some boulders above on the outgoing leg.
