Hooked
This is a bit of a departure from my normal type of capture. I was headed up May Hill a few months ago and on the way my eye was drawn to this little bit of ironwork on a "kissing gate". I just like the skill that has gone into its transformation from a lump of molten metal. I like the shape, the colour and tone caused by its exposure to the elements. And I like the weather beaten look of the post being treated to a little sun. I'm probably boring you now so I'll shut up!
