Chaotic campfire

Aurora borealis, it can't be seen through a layer of clouds right? So we played around with a flashlight and burning sticks at 2 am. Turned out to that auroras weren't needed this time!

 

Two long exposures combined. Canon 5D Mk 2 and 16-35 L 2.8 USM 2 on a carbonfiber tripod.
