Classic Space - streamlined road-switcher diesel loco - front
Basically, this is a shrouded MRS-1 (Military Road Switcher), designed / made by ALCO for the United States Army Transportation Corps in the 1950's. In the early part of the 1970's, all were deemed redundant for their purpose and most were scrapped, but several were saved for museums and short-lines across the USA. This Classic Space-based version is streamlined to match the other locomotives on the Lunar Railroad. It features two sliding axles for the center of the three-wheel trucks and a seven-stud wide cab.
