Streamlined 4-8-2 steam locomotive with face - OTTO
I was looking at this locomotive and was thinking what if it were a Railway Series / Thomas and Friends visiting character. So I added a face to my streamlined 4-8-2 and named him Otto. why I named him that is beyond me, it just popped into my head.
...and yes, I know their never were any 4-8-2's in the UK.Also, when I get the loco next month it will not have a face.
Otto is a newer streamlined fast passenger steam engine who is everyone's friend. He is a student of a much older engine named Warren, and loves to run the fast passenger trains. However, he hides a deep fear of diesels replacing steam engines forever. He feels whenever he is down for repairs or cleanings, diesels are taking his loads and doing them better and faster. Otto worries that someday his fire will go out, and he will be sent to the scrap yard. To prevent this, he works really hard, (perhaps to hard) wearing down his parts faster and working trains that he should have some helper engines on.
