Bleeding Hearts 4x6

I don't know why I continue to torture myself with this paper in my small journal... my only excuse is, I love the size. It fits perfectly in my bag, so I have it with me all the time. I also enjoy the leather journal cover.... The best way to end this frustration would be to make a refill to fit the cover, then it could be perfect! When I have time I'll need to do that. In the mean time I'll have to try and dedicate this one to pen and pencil work. The paper works quite well for those mediums. I just always want to add watercolor.... I can't seem to help myself.

 

Bleeding hearts from a photograph taken last spring. This spring they didn't do well. The spring was long and it snow off and on into June. They kept sprouting, then freezing.... they never did flower. :-(
