Smoky daze

I got a notice in my letterbox a week or two ago informing me that they'd be doing a hazard reduction burn in the area soon.

Today was the day.

I took a walk down the street to the edge of the bush in the afternoon when (i think) they were more or less finished the job.

Still lots of smoke.

Probably my unit reeks of smoke (and me too), but now that i've been out in the thick of it, i can't actually tell anymore.
