Multi-purpose Bookcase

This project served two purposes, one to hide a stub wall that concealed plumbing pipes and the other to install bookcases in a library room.. The bookcases rest on the top of the wall. The difference between the depths of the original and stub walls is concealed by the jamb and side casing for the window.
