the 'new tel aviv' is at least 92% Asian around the central bus station due to a demographic influx of foreign workers from Asian countries, mostly the Phillipines but also elsewhere.
Despite claims that these foreign workers are usually abused and work on Kibbutzes, where elderly leftists no longer like to work, it seems a large number mostly wander around the central bus station in Tel Aviv. It is a situation that has not been confronted by the government but will have to be one day or there will be repercusions. So far crime is still low in Tel Aviv, and not wanting to make this sound racist, but large numbers of poor immigrants will certainly lead to crime eventually, especially since it doesnt seem many of them have traditional jobs and it also doenst appear they all work in "sex work" as eastern european women are trafficked and forced to work in(but who are also enslaved and imprisoned so one doesnt see them).
