Framework Convention Alliance
Philippines rally
15 March 2012: About 2,000 protestors in Manilla, Philippines, march against a global international trade show (Protobex/Intertabac Asia 2012) that promotes tobacco products while it took place in the city. The protesters called on the country’s government to strictly monitor the Protobex and Intertabac gathering to ensure it would not promote tobacco products to the public, which would violate the World Health Organization Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC).
