Ayer Mill, Lawrence - 1
This mill was built in 1909 to house the American Woolen Company. It now has a New Balance shoe assembly plant in it, but I don't think that takes up all this space. Parts of it are probably vacant, and I think all of it was vacant for many years. The clock tower (with a clock face second in size only to Big Ben, among all clock towers in the world) has become an icon of the city of Lawrence.
