Keen for something a bit different Steve and I headed to Wild Horse Mountain to have a crack at the Glass House Mtns.

We were greeted with overcast conditions, and I remember saying to Steve this will either be fantastic or forgettable. Rolling our eyes, we stood in the dark shivering, as the wind gusted straight up to the lookout. We have done this before in similar conditions and come away with nothing. There was a gap in the clouds somewhat above the horizon, and seven minutes after sunrise the sun peeked through, for about 30 seconds and it was gone. The peaks on the right never saw the light.

So much better on Black
