Tanzania - ELCT: Prince Charles plants a tree during a visit to a tree nursery in Tanzania. These women-led projects are a core part of the long-term plan for the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Tanzania. The aim is to establish one in every parish. On September 18, 2012, 26 Christian, Muslim and Hindu faith groups in sub-Saharan Africa launched long-term environmental action plans during ARC's 'Many Heavens, One Earth, Our Continent' celebration in Nairobi, Kenya.
