Finest Welsh anthracite rolls East through Cardiff Central. I was reminded of this shot when reading Colin Gifford's superb 'Each a Glimpse' book of superb views of 60's steam. Giffford specialised in anything but the standard 3/4 shots, the so-called 'New Approach".
Not that I'm suggesting my photographic ability gets anywhere nears his.
