I'm Running Away to an Island
At this moment in our area it is -9F ((-23 C) with a "wind chill temperature" of -30F (-34C) !!
I remember the warmth of Sanibel Island last February. This picture shows what my PoV will be very soon...
... I lift my head from the chaise on the beach, take a cold sip, listen to the shorebirds squawking in the soft breeze, smell the Gulf of Mexico, and see the gently swaying palm trees...
