Family: Campanulaceae - the bellflower family
Habit: A single stemmed shrub; stem up to 2 meters long; monocarpic (flowers once, then dies).
Habitat: wet shrublands.
Native; endemic to O`ahu; recorded from the southern and central Ko`olau Mountains and on Ka`ala and Kalena in the northern Wai`anae Mountains.
Federally listed as endangered.
