Native. Myrsine sandwicensis occurs throughout the wet forests and shrublands of the Ko`olau Mountains, whereas M. juddii is restricted to the northern part of the mountain range, ranging from about Pu`uka`inapua`a in the north to North Kaukonahua Gulch in the south.
