ATF Type Billing
Up to almost the end of the company in 1993, ATF was casting and shipping some rather large orders of type. This invoice for export type was to Monarch Marking, a company that also bought large quantities of type for use in the U.S. This particular shipment was for 12,199 six inch lines of type--an impressive amount of type casting. This is from a large box of ATF documents I found in doing some clean up today that came with our purchase of NA Graphics. At today's sorts line pricing from the Dale Guild, this same order would be in the neighborhood of $130,000. And from the dates on the invoice, this was all cast and ready to ship within 10 days of ATF receiving the order--very impressive.
