Hard to believe these are the same blocks! Since the light sides never meet other light sides on the pinwheel arrangement, it's difficult to see any design in blocks this small. With the Barn Raising, it's always easy to see the design, even with a lot of mediums in there. I could use four blocks to form a pinwheel and then sash them....well, lots more blocks to make before I need to decide on the setting.
