The old and dead power at Vulcan - Lehigh, IL
For as long as I can remember they used this former Conrail hi-nose geep to move stone cars around the property at Vulcan Materials near Kankakee, IL. As soon as I pullled up I knew she was done for, shoved on an unused stub track and wheels rusted to hell. This unit was in great condition for most of it's years, but in the last year or two it began to look in pretty rough shape.
I've heard that she's of Erie heritage. Lackawanna 959
