Giles Rees - VP Exclusive Brands Business
Rees leads Sagem Wireless’ work with its Exclusive Brand partners, such as Porsche Design. He joined Sagem Wireless in 2010, bringing with him over 20 years of experience of the luxury goods and services industry. Rees was previously Global Sales Director of Vertu, Nokia’s luxury mobile brand. At Vertu, he led the development of the company’s retail distribution organisation and its expansion into the APAC market. Prior to his joining Vertu in 2000, Rees worked for Jaguar Cars directing the licensing programme and had built his reputation in luxury goods through his 10 years experience in the Richemont and Swatch Groups. At Swatch Group, he managed the premium brands Omega and RADO watches before becoming UK Managing Director. Prior to this between 1990 and 1995, Rees was at Alfred Dunhill, initially as UK Sales Manager and latterly as Marketing Manager Menswear.
