Custom LEGO Star Wars: The Phantom Menace | Darth Maul

"At last we will reveal ourselves to the Jedi. At last we will have revenge."

 

To go along with Qui-Gon, I made the main villain from TPM: Darth Maul.

 

I was dreading making this guy but I am very satisfied with the result.

 

This figure has cloth robes which were painted, painted e-tape belt, painted boots, painted undershirt w/ arms, and TinyTactical glove tops.

The main work for this figure was put into the head. I sculpted the dome to round off the head, sculpted each individual horn, sanded them, and glued them on.The entire head was then painted, including all of the face. I decided to make him have a neutral expression because I want to save the more angry, aggressive expression for when I make him for The Clone Wars.

 

Last but not least, I made a custom saber hilt for his double-bladed saber.
