Custom LEGO The Walking Dead: Gareth
"You waking up? Ah, you're back with us, huh? Good news is... you're not dead yet. That's a relief, right? But try not to read too much of the word 'yet' there. It'll just drive you crazy, Bob. I want to explain myself a little. You see, we didn't want to hurt you... before. We didn't want to pull you away from your group or scare you. These aren't things we want to do. They're things we got to do. You and your people took away our home. That's fair play. Now we're out here like everybody else trying to survive. And in order to do that, we have to hunt. Didn't start that way, eating people. It evolved into that. We evolved. We had to. And now we've devolved, into hunters...I just hope you understand that nothing happening to you now is personal. Yeah, you put us in this situation and it is almost kind of a cosmic justice for it to be you, but... we would have done this to anybody. And we will. But at the end of the day, no matter how much we hate all this ugly business... a man's got to eat."
Sorry for not posting this figure last week, I was tied up with some other stuff and things projects, mainly for school. However, in spite of the Bobaque, I decided to post Gareth this week, and next week I will probably post Father Gabriel and possibly Carol.
Gareth was somewhat of a rushed figure, so he didn't turn out exactly as I hope, but he will do.
Overall, he's pretty basic. He has tan legs with the black boots painted on, and I glued parts of plastic onto the sides to represent his knife and pistol holsters. His torso was painted all denim blue, then I added the dark green undershirt and skin tone. Also added were the collar of the shirt and his pockets. His face is a Dastan head with the mouth and eyebrows modified and his hair is Larry the Barista from the LEGO Movie CMFs.
Gareth is dry brushed with brown and dark red, and is equipped with a BrickArms AK-APOC that was painted brown and gunmetal.
Hopefully you all like this figure but as I said, he was kind of rushed.
Other projects I am still working on are Parks and Recreation and Fury, so stay tuned!
