Looking west down the nave past c1100 round arched south arcade with the effigy of William Clopton 1419 moved from the south chapel In 15c the nave was heightened with clerestory windows and new Elizabethan oak roof which still survives. - The organ built by G M Holditch has been moved round the church several times during the last 100 years. In the 1920s it was in the north Lady Chapel, later near the south door and finally in 1996 to its present position. It was originally wind powered with a handpump, but now is electric .
