Memorial - In a vault near this place lie the remains of Rev John Pelly, 31 years rector of this parish, 26 of which he resided in it, serving his ministry with fidelity, in benevolence and integrity, he had few equals and in the distribution of justice as a majistrate. His candour and equity were excelled by none. He lived respected and belov'd, and died greatly regretted on the 7th November 1809 aged 55 years leaving a widow and 7 children to lament their irreparable loss.
Also Mrs Eugenia Pelly died 8th February 1831 aged 72 years
