View of the Colorado River from Desert View Point

Forecast for the day I was supposed to leave was cloudy with chances of rain/snow. Imagine my surprise when I looked out the window and it was sunny with a few clouds. I should have gotten up earlier! These photos were taken from about 10 am to 2 pm so the lighting was a little harsh. Still beats cloudy any day.
