CP 8142 Southbound 574-109 South of Harpers Ferry IA
I spent the past days with the family up at Harpers Ferry along the CP Marquette Sub. The family, on my wife's side, owns a trailer inside the Taylor's Court here near MP 108. Taylor's Court is a small community with 78 trailers with a backyard view of the Mississippi River. Here a loaded oil train is about 10 miles from Marquette as they pass by this community mainly madeup of retired people or river rats looking for time away from their grown up lives. It is a nice spot to get away for a day or two. Plus its a great place to get CP trains sneaking along the Mighty Mississippi River between Marquette and Lansing.
