Polaroid Pronto! SE
This is the "Polaroid Pronto! SE". It is a simple, plastic bodied Polaroid Land Camera which was produced by Polaroid from 1976 to 1977, and would have originally retailed for about $80.00 USD.
The Pronto! series debuted in the late 1970s and was meant as a replacement for the original Polaroid OneStep SX-70. The main improvement over the original OneStep was the inclusion on a triple-element, multi-coated, manual focus lens. The higher quality lenses allowed for much sharper pictures than what was possible with the original OneStep. The manual focus also allowed the user to take close-up pictures up to 3ft away.
Overall the Pronto! SE is your basic Polaroid SX-70 camera from the late 1970s. The entire body of the camera including the lenses are made out of plastic. The shutter button and the exposure adjustment dial are both located on the front of the camera. Although the camera itself does not have an electronic flash, it does however feature a socket for a flashbar attachment.
The Pronto! SE was also sold through K-Mart as the "Pronto! BC" and through Sears as the "Pronto! Sears Special"
