Dipping Pool

The gardens are well established having been created in the 1800's, this would have been a dipping pool for the gardeners to fill their watering cans. The estate slowly fell in to disrepair during the 20th Century and was eventually bought by a farmer from Cheshire called Anthony Tavenor who made it his lifes work to bring the gardens back to life. They were private until 2011 with viewing on selected days now they are open seasonally and well worth a visit.
