LEGO 76000 DC Universe Super Heroes ARTIC BATMAN vs. Mr. FREEZE: AQUAMAN on ICE!
Building some fun small to mid sized sets lately and really enjoyed this especially for the Bat-Boat and more figs to add to my superhero collection.
PRO's...
- The BAT-BOAT: Nicely designed. Great shape and angles. Looks good from all sides. Nice profile. Open and close cockpit. Targeting graphic on cockpit windshield. Interior has control graphics. Left and right on wings have firing disc weapons. Left and right of back engine has 2 Bat-Bombs. Left and right wings use NinjaGo swords as ice-blades as well as clips to mount Batman's Battarangs. And of course the signature rear tailfin/bat wing. Of note it's a sturdy model. Good play for the kids.
- Ice Tomb to hold heroes or villains. Has a lever you push down to break apart the two trans-light blue ice blocks.
- MINIFIGS...
Artic Suit Batman...looks great all in white and grey tones. Duel face head, removable cowl, cape and two Battarangs.
Mr. Freeze...another outstanding figure. Great face graphic and well detailed overall on torso as well as helmet/backpack (Refriguration Suit). His Ice-Gun is a nice design using the retro blaster we've seen many times now but I like the added elements as well as the cylindar showing the coolant he uses.
Aquaman...great addition to have especially if you're building your Justice League of Lego...;) Nice graphic (classic comic look), duel faced and comes with a nice pearl-gold Trident weapon.
CON's...-Stickers for the windscreen, side panels Batman symbol and interior cockpit.
For $20 bucks great gift for the kids to play with and it's a nice addition to your superhero collection especially if you're a Bat-vehicle collector like me and of course great new figs to add to your line.
EDIT: Comes with a 12 page LEGO DC Universe Super Heroes mini-comic book.
