Salted paper print from a calotype negative made in the summer 2011 on thin paper (Silversafe) using a wet process (A.Green). Waxed prior to printing.

 

Arches Platine paper

1,7 % Ammonium Chloridel floated 3 min

14% Silver Nitrate brushed once

exposed to dark, low cloud afternoon daylight 2,5 hrs

washed out precipitation i 3 baths of tapwater each ab. 5 min

fixed in buffered hypo pentahydr 2 x 4 min

washed for 2 hrs

air dried
