EMC2 Drives Old Toshiba Dot Matrix
Using EMC2 (linuxcnc.org) to drive a left for dead Toshiba P351 dot matrix printer.
Sorry the video is terrible but I was eager to capture it's first run.
DId it mostly as a novelty and test of the stepper motors.
EMC 2 is a free linux CNC control program. Other ingredients: Old discarded PC (P3 900mhz), Parallel port to hookup stepper motor drivers to control the stepper motors.
