High contrast......two shots Stitched together best view large scale
Today's update is to explain why some of my captures look the way that they do.
Sometimes people are afraid to ask for fear of offending.........if you ever want to ask please do!
First a boring bit.................I'm a self taught photographer............no training....or any courses.....no mentor.........just what I've taught myself by experimentation. Also this is no joke and very true I'm colour blind.............many forms of severity in colour-blindness, doctors say mine is heavy an old defence company that tested my eyes said it was light..........the only thing I can tell you.....hold up one of those silly dot things where your meant to see a number or a picture in......I can't see it! and all you people than can..... are mad........... and you all need to seek help I think you have some Freudian issues! :-)
I bought my first happy snappy 5mp camera back in 2005 upgrade to a Fuji bridge camera in 2008 and my current Panasonic last year. One other quick note on my landscape, sunset / sunrise captures I never look for the perfect shot they will always have a high contrast between the light and dark sections it's the way I like them.
Now back to my pictures, I've upload a selection of captures, mainly bluebells and one sunset and some are best viewed in large format. If you have tab browsing, it would be best to open both types in separate tabs and flick between the two.
What you'll see is one picture taken on the spot hand held with all camera settings set to neutral and the other where I added a high contrast change.......I've done this to change a light spectrum so I can see it more as how I saw the scene while I took the shot. As you can see I've not changed the colour I've just changed the light you can see,
if your standing in the middle of a field on a bright cloudless day the light you see will be harsh and white, if you move and stand in the middle of a dense wood the light will be dark............but here's the crux....the light you see is the same for both your just seeing it in a different spectrum....wave.....band whatever you want to call it. And all I do in most of my captures is show you the difference between the light and the dark spectrum. I don't always have the time to do this as I take the shot so I alter it when home.
