Cross Bones 2

Cross Bones graveyard and gardens in the site of a post medieval cemetery in the Borough. It is at the junction of Union Street and Redcross Way. Originally used in the 17th century for the burial of single women in unconsecrated ground, later used for the burial of paupers. It was closed in the 1850s. There may be up to 15,000 packed in one above the other.

I wonder how much a "Licence to Sin" cost from the church, and was it automatic forgiveness for those sins.
