Daylily 'Endless Heart' y26w28 15yo R1 DL

Hemerocallis 'Endless Heart', bred by Darrel Apps and registered in 2004, originated as a targeted cross between the cultivars 'Apricot Sparkles' and 'Red Hot Returns'. This hybrid features compact mounds of evergreen foliage topped with 4-inch, watermelon-red flowers characterized by a contrasting chartreuse throat and a ruffled pie-crust edge. In Southeastern Michigan, its first major bloom cycle launches early in ISO Week 25 (mid-June), beating most mid-season daylilies by several weeks. What makes this plant horticulturally significant is its rapid multiplying habit, generating six or more fans per season compared to the standard two or three. This aggressive growth enables the plant to send up multiple flower scapes per fan and rebloom up to four times a year, delivering nearly 100 days of summer color
