Hemerocallis 'Heavenly Masquerade' 7/2022 Daylily E1-

Hemerocallis 'Heavenly Masquerade' 7/2022 Daylily E1- (Gossard, 2005) Semi-Tall Maroon Daylily , Mature plant size: 32in., 7in. Maroon with dark maroon purple eye above grass green throat. , USDA Hardiness Zone 4, Michigan Bloom Week ISO WW27, In Garden Bed E1 for 33 MONTHS (NGA). Planted in 2019.

ADS: Heavenly Masquerade (Gossard, 2005)

height 32 in.(81 cm), bloom 7 in.(18 cm), season M, Dormant, Tetraploid, 16 buds, 3 branches, Unusual Form Crispate, Maroon with dark maroon purple eye above grass green throat. (Moonlit Masquerade × Tet. Green Widow)

Heavenly Gardens: Unusual form crispate with a vivid green throat and dark purple eye. Green throat is very intense and holds all day long. A very rare dormant plant habit, since both parents are evergreen. Heavenly Masquerade has a much bolder eye and larger flower size than Heavenly Ginger Snap. Brings new dormant genetics into the unusual forms. Fertile both ways. Great kids!

2020 Notes: Planted in 2019. 296 days later, scapes (2) are 18 inches tall with a diameter of 0.25 inches. Bloom is at 8 inches and overwhelms the immature clump size. I would describe the flower as a dirty cream color (maroon tint) with a dark maroon eye and a yellow green throat. If the registration description did not include a photo, I would have been hard pressed to confirm its ID. Nonetheless, it is quite attractive.
