Dark Purple is a slightly larger than Purple with deeper midnight-blue blooms in rounded clusters that reappear regularly from spring until frost. Bloom in spring like traditional lilacs, then reblooms from mid-summer through fall. Hybrid of Syringa patula x macrophylla x meyeri x juliana. aka Syringa x 'SMSJBP7'. Cannot tell the purple from the dark purple. Bottom trim 2021.
