Ancient Beech tree at Shireoaks park. Still looking green but the leaves are very wind damaged. This old tree does struggle but it doesn't help that there are several types of other tree and greenery competeing for space under it's canopy including oaks, hawthorn and elder. Yet another dull day continuing my year-long quest to photograph this old tree on the 1st of every month this year.
