The passing river

Time is a sort of river of passing events, and strong is its current; no sooner is a thing brought to sight than it is swept by and another takes its place, and this too will be swept away ~ Marcus Aurelius.
How lovely it must be to live beside water especially and on a warm Summers day as it creates a coolness in the air and a gentle soothing sound as it passes by along on it's journey.
