Figs
Kadota figs to be precise and they are perfectly ripe for eating raw...which i did, one in the parking lot at the farmer's market and 3 at lunch......I got some dark figs as well....either celeste or mission, but they are overripe and not as perfectly sweet as the beauties above......never have enough to make jam but they are soooo good raw.....a bit pricey though.....about 50cents apiece
just look at the formation of the fruit and then think of that addage about how a food looks like what it is good for in the human body, ie carrot slices (eyes) tomatoes (heart).....i say this sure looks like the digestive tract to me....all the intestines!
my colors, purple and green!
