getting ready for the parade
for whatever reason I was overtaken with the desire to participate in the community parade tomorrow to welcom jaycee dugard home to her parents from her 18 years of captivity......then we headed to Carson City for some dog food, etc and I hit michael's for some pink items, Jaycee's fave color and the color of all the ribbons they have used for her memory and yes I have a SON
but he is wearing his jammies to try on the "balloon backpack" I made him with balloons, ribbon and some mounting squares...the 3 balloons are in the shape of a heart and i wrote on them welcome home jaycee...he has pink pom poms and a pink, crown I told him he will be king of the parade......we also have party blowers in pink polka dots and some additional pink ballons...i will take more daylight photos tomorrow, now I am a bit worried he may be so cute he will draw attention.....ugh....where is the line between community participation and media craze? I suspect this parade will be on national news....so if you see this cutie and his parents know I am waving HI
