Shift 3 Chicken

Fried chicken I made for dinner this evening. I don't mean to brag or anything, but, yes.... it tasted as good as it looks.

First, I dipped it in a lightly beaten egg, then shook it up in a flour and cornmeal coating in a sealed container. For the seasonings in the coating mix, I just went crazy. I started with some poultry seasoning, followed by the original flavor of Ms. Dash, some seasoned salt, garlic and then salt and pepper. Then, the chicken was fried on the stove top in a cast-iron skillet using Wesson oil. (For that "Wesson-ality.")

Usually, closeups with this little toy digital keychain camera don't turn out so well. But, I couldn't complain about this one - it was pretty sharp, considering it was only 4-5 inches away from the chicken.
