The Taskmaster
There are things that go bump in the night. Most people are satisfied with making up simple solutions to these disturbances. The thudding in the ceiling? A mouse on the roof. The movements outside the window? A wandering dog. That intimidating shadow on the wall? A tree blowing in the wind. But how does one explain the blood splattered walls and mutilated corpses they find in the morning? How do they explain the shining of the axe as it whistled down at their head? Can they explain what these creatures are that have butchered their families and come for them? There are things that DO go bump in the night, and the fiendish monster known as Taskmaster finds an unexplainable glee in knowing he is one that bumps the loudest.
