The guy broke more facemasks each year than the rest of the league combined. He was paid to flatten people and flatten them he did. No frills. Just a steady dose of punishment. Barry Sanders was in a league of his own. In my mind the best runner of all time. Barry owes a few of those yards to #30
The only jersey with a name on it I ever bought and wore and I can't see buying another.
The Lions could use a few more guys like him and although I went Lions-free back in the Millen era, and haven't looked back, I will always be fans of the Lions of old, but Matthew Stafford is growing on me. We'll see. In the meantime, Go Texans!
