122/365 - union hall library??
So tonight, I met up with Phyllis in Park Slope for an evening of debauchery. The most debaucherous thing we did was debate how we could cookie-nap those Girl Scout cookies on the table behind us. (spoiler alert - when the boxes were abandoned, we found out they were empty. boo).
We started off the evening at Union Hall, which was pretty neat. It has a cool vibe, and the bar area looks like a fancy library. It was pretty hipster. Non-hipster aspect: no PBR. Hipster flocking point: two bocce courts in the back. There was nothing I wanted to do more than go back there and show those douches who's the queen of the bocce court. I play to win, bitches. (I once got a bocce ball set for my birthday when I was younger. its a typical gift when you had a grandfather who played it every single day)
Afterwards, we headed into Lower Manhattan. The aim was "find a coffee place and have some coffee and a snackie." They were all closed. Except for this Vietnamese place called Saigon Shack. They had noodles, pho, bahn mi, and coffee. Totally hit the spot and a perfect way to end the night.
